Welcome to MeraConnect.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MeraConnect website and related services. In these Terms, “MeraConnect,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to MeraConnect.

By accessing or using MeraConnect, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. About MeraConnect

MeraConnect provides daily memories, quizzes, polls, games and other content inspired by Indian life and culture. We may also offer optional reminders through WhatsApp.

MeraConnect is intended to provide a simple and enjoyable experience. Features and content may change over time.

2. Who may use MeraConnect

You must be at least 13 years old to use MeraConnect.

If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use MeraConnect only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

By using MeraConnect, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Entertainment and informational purposes

MeraConnect’s memories, quizzes, games, polls and other materials are provided for general information and entertainment.

The content is not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. You should not rely on MeraConnect when making decisions that require professional guidance.

Memories and cultural experiences can differ between people, families, regions and generations. Content on MeraConnect does not claim to represent every person’s experience.

4. Using MeraConnect

You may use MeraConnect for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment.

You agree not to:

  • Use MeraConnect for an unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, its database or administrative areas
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of MeraConnect
  • Introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful technology
  • Use automated tools to scrape, download or copy substantial amounts of content
  • Copy, republish, sell or commercially exploit MeraConnect content without permission
  • Misrepresent your identity or pretend to be another person
  • Use MeraConnect in a manner that infringes another person’s rights
  • Attempt to avoid or bypass technical restrictions protecting the service

We may restrict or block access when we reasonably believe someone is misusing MeraConnect or creating a security risk.

5. Quizzes, games, polls and memories

We try to make MeraConnect’s content accurate, enjoyable and respectful. However, we do not guarantee that every answer, explanation, memory, image or other item will always be complete, current or error-free.

Quiz results and game scores are intended only for entertainment. They are not formal assessments of a person’s knowledge, memory, intelligence or health.

Poll results reflect responses from participating visitors. They are informal and should not be treated as scientific or representative research.

We may correct, replace or remove content at any time.

6. WhatsApp reminders

You may choose to receive MeraConnect reminders through WhatsApp. Reminders are optional and require your consent.

By requesting reminders, you authorize MeraConnect to send messages to the WhatsApp phone number you provide.

You understand that:

  • Reminder timing and delivery are not guaranteed
  • The frequency of reminders may change
  • WhatsApp or your internet provider may apply its own data or service charges
  • WhatsApp and Meta have their own terms and privacy practices
  • MeraConnect is not responsible for delays or failures caused by WhatsApp, Meta, your device or your service provider

You can stop reminders at any time by replying STOP, using an available unsubscribe option or contacting us at meraconnect4@gmail.com.

7. Ownership of MeraConnect content

MeraConnect and its original content, including its name, branding, design, text, quizzes, games, graphics and arrangement, are owned by MeraConnect or used with permission from their respective owners.

You may:

  • View and enjoy the content for personal use
  • Share a link to a MeraConnect page with friends or family

Unless you receive written permission, you may not:

  • Reproduce or republish substantial MeraConnect content
  • Sell or commercially use the content
  • Remove copyright or ownership notices
  • Present MeraConnect content as your own
  • Use the MeraConnect name or branding in a way that suggests an official relationship

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of MeraConnect content to you.

8. Feedback

You may choose to send us ideas, suggestions or feedback.

By submitting feedback, you allow us to use it to operate and improve MeraConnect without payment or obligation to you. You continue to own any original material contained in your feedback.

Do not submit confidential information through a feedback form or general contact email.

9. Third-party services and links

MeraConnect may use or link to third-party services, including WhatsApp, Meta, Google Analytics, Cloudinary, YouTube and other content or technology providers.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.

A link or integration does not necessarily mean that MeraConnect endorses the third party.

10. Availability and changes

We hope to keep MeraConnect available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may, at any time:

  • Add, change or remove content
  • Modify or discontinue a feature
  • Temporarily suspend the service for maintenance or security
  • Limit access to some or all of MeraConnect
  • Discontinue MeraConnect

We are not responsible for losses resulting from interruptions, technical problems or changes to the service, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, MeraConnect is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The service will always be available or error-free
  • Every item of content will be accurate or complete
  • Defects will always be corrected
  • The service will be free from every harmful component
  • MeraConnect will meet every user’s expectations

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. In those jurisdictions, these exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MeraConnect and the people involved in operating it will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use MeraConnect
  • Errors or omissions in content
  • Loss of locally stored progress or preferences
  • Interruptions or technical failures
  • Third-party websites or services
  • Unauthorized access that could not reasonably have been prevented

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use, store and share it.

By using MeraConnect, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review the Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as MeraConnect changes.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we may also provide an additional notice on MeraConnect.

Your continued use of MeraConnect after revised Terms take effect means that you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Nothing in this section prevents you from relying on consumer protections that apply to you under the laws of your location.
